Pressure Calibrators
Technel represents several manufacturers of portable pressure calibrators including Mensor, Condec and Keller. The Mensor CPH 6600 is a portable multi-function calibrator for pressure, temperature and electrical measurements. An internal electric pump provides a source of pressure up to 150 psi (300 psi optional hand pump) and is battery powered with a minimum life of 300 pump cycles to 150 psi. Two pressure ranges are available; -0.8 bar to 2 bar and -0.8 bar to 10 bar; each with an accuracy of +/- 0.025% F.S. 24 V DC is available to power transmitters while the CPH 6600 can display a 4 – 20 ma input or source signal to an accuracy of +/- 0.025% F.S. The Keller CALI provides a convenient, portable solution for calibration of their standard accuracy pressure transducers and depth sensors. Powered by a lithium battery, the Keller CALI can be either a pneumatic system with hand pump and vacuum pump, a pneumatic system with screw pump or an hydraulic system with screw pump. In addition the Condec UPC series provides rugged stand alone systems with internal gas reservoir and pressures to 10000 psi.

Keller provides a convenient, portable solution for calibration of their standard accuracy pressure transducers and depth sensors. Powered by a lithium battery (included) this lightweight calibration system is good for 200 hours of continuous operation before the battery needs to be changed. Like Keller’s digital indicators, battery change can be accomplished easily and without tools. The Full-version system includes a transmitter power and input loop with the Standard-version does not. The Full-version requires additional 9V batteries or an AC power supply. Accuracy is 0.1% FS which is good for transducers with error bands 0.5% FS and greater or two-point calibration checks on higher pressure transducers. The Keller CALI LP is a pneumatic system with hand pump and vacuum pump. Pressure ranges from -1 bar to 10 bar The Keller CALI MP is a pneumatic system with screw pump. The Condec UPC 5000 includes a self-contained nitrogen cylinder, Condec’s patented Orion 2C valve system, a rechargeable battery, as well as all controls, hoses and connections required for rapid on-site calibration. Available Pressure Ranges: 2000, 1000, 500, 100, 50, and 15 psi Accuracy: 0.05% FS with user-selectable ranges of 100% 50% and 20% of Full Scale Pressure Cylinder: 7.0 scf, 2215 psi.
