Sales & Applications Engineer

Technel Engineering Inc., incorporated in 1986, is a Canadian based manufacturers’ Rep of instrumentation, calibration, DAQ, plus custom calibration systems design.

Our customers base include many Fortune 500 companies, laboratories, Government, Utilities, medical and instrumentation manufacturers.

Support has been and continues to be a basic tenet of Technel’s success.

We are seeking an applications Engineer based out of our Vaughan, Ontario office.

What we are looking for:

  • High-level knowledge of instrumentation, pressure, DAQ, sensors
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in application engineering and a proven track record of sales success and relationship building.
  • University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Technologist.
  • Must have full professional proficiency in English, French an asset
  • Proficient in MS office
  • Hands-on approach in the day-to- day interaction with our customers on the phone, e-mail, TEAMS and visits.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit exceptional organizational skills ( i.e., manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, set goals.
  • Must be Self-motivated and exhibit hands-on approach in the day-to-day interaction with our customers and Principals.
  • Provide quotes and identify and recommend products or services
  • Able to analyze complex technical issues and provide solutions to our customers
  • Proficient in Interpreting drawings and other technical documents

    We looking for an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer or Technologist required for technical support, product applications, inside sales, and some design.

    Must have knowledge of instrumentation, strong written and verbal communication skills, 3+ years experience in a related field.
